Malawi Police have recovered a vehicle belonging to minster of information and tourism Kondwani Nankhumwa, stolen on 22 January this year at Lunzu in Blantyre.

National police spokesperson Rhoda Manjolo confirmed that the vehicle was found in Mozambique when the robbers abandoned the vehicle after a long chase.

Manjolo says no one has been arrested so far hence the alleged robbers abandoned the vehicle after a longer chase with the police.

She says investigations are still underway.

The vehicle is partially damaged in front, but was not changed in any way.
