The high court in Blantyre has suspended an injunction which the opposition faction of Gomani chieftaincy obtained through Dingiswayo Gomani to stop a Ngoni gathering called Umhlangano,today Saturday.

Lawyer for the defendants Chancy Gondwe of Gondwe and artoneys confirmed that high court judge Justice Mclean Kamwambe suspended the injunction friday night.

Gondwe said they applied for the suspension on grounds that the injunction came only two days before the event, yet the complainant new of the set date way back in May this year.

Dingswayo Gomani obtained the injunction at Blantyre high court serving district commissioner for Ntcheu, mrs rosemary Malinki and Inkosi yamakosi Gomani 5, on grounds that they were not consulted as a family about the whole preparation.
